What is a Private Cloud?

In which a private cloud is a particular model of cloud computing that involves a clear and secure environment on the basis of the cloud can work only the specified client. As with the other models of the cloud, computing private clouds provide power as a service in a virtualized environment of an underlying set of physical computing resources. However, under the private cloud model, cloud (resource group) is only offered by a single organization that provides the organization greater control and privacy.

Technical mechanisms used to provide different services that can be classified as private cloud services can vary widely and therefore it is difficult to define what a technical cloud is a private cloud. Instead, these services are often categorized by the features they offer their customers. The features that characterize private clouds include a cloud for the exclusive use of an organization and higher network security. Unlike a public cloud, multiple customers have access to virtualized services that extract all resources from the same set of servers over public networks. Private cloud services derive their appeal from a limited number of physical computers, but they can remain internal or external and can be accessed through private leased lines or secure encrypted connections over public networks.

The added security offered by the cloud model ring fencing is ideal for any organization, including the companies you need sensitive tasks to store and process private data or perform. For example, a service private cloud could be used by a finance company that is required by the regulation to store sensitive data internally and still want to benefit within their business infrastructure from some of the benefits of cloud computing.
